An enchanted life unveiled through refining our senses

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for your senses to grow sharper.”

— W.B. Yeats

Imagine a world where the emergence of our senses in pristine form meets the truth of how things *really* are.

To experience all of those magic things, as Yeats so simply puts it.

Is that flower over there just a yellow flower...or is it a yellow flower that has been formed entirely from the spontaneous perfection of nature’s intelligence, yielding a level of beauty beyond its size?

Is that just a sweet song you hear...or is it a collection of carefully sequenced words and curated verses, mastered melodies, and the right rhythm, exalting the timeline of a human heart which has been constructed from the love, grief, sorrows, joys and ecstasy of this lifetime, and many passed?

Sensitivity comes from the Latin word sentio, meaning “to sense; to perceive,” as in a sense of touch. I like to think of our senses as sensitive antennae that in our modern world, are disrupted and dimmed of their full function and capability. We can thank the stimulation of the constant stressors and demands coming our way for that. Which is a real shame, as this is the way we receive very important information...about everything.

Binding the five senses we know well (sight, touch, taste, scent, sound) are the sixth senses which are equally vital, yet unconscious and automatic in their way of operating. These sixth senses (intuition, knowingness) are the ones that require strengthening and sharpening to allow the other five instruments of knowingness to flourish into fullness.

Through inviting presence and stillness into our life, we're offering a solution to mitigate the effects that the stimulation of demands can have on the full use of our senses. We can better tune into the frequency of nature, without interruption from the things that don't matter, so we can place more of our divine attention on the things that do.

Shared with love and a smile,
