Rounding Day (for Vedic Meditators)

  • Natasha Mason Meditation arnold st studi Cheltenham Australia (map)

Rounding is a practice open to anyone who has learnt VM or TM. It involves a sequence of very gentle asana (yoga postures - think yin like poses), breathwork, meditation, and rest. This sequence when linked together forms a 'round'...many repetitions being referred to as 'rounding'.

Together in a small group on this day, we complete a number of rounds to give way to deep rest and rejuvenation. Paired with a delicious Ayurvedic lunch in the middle, it is a deeply nourishing day, and a beautiful way to connect with your Vedic family.

If you haven't learnt the practice of rounding yet, you will then be able to incorporate the practice at home once you have learnt. This day is open to those who have not rounded yet at all, or have rounded many times before!

The practice we'll complete together during this day will give way to releasing the stress that would have been released over approximately two months worth of  twice daily meditation. I like to call rounding "turbo charged meditation"!
