Becoming, or unbecoming?
When you choose to walk the path of 'becoming',
you quickly realise it's more about 'unbecoming'.
It becomes about 'unlearning' rather than 'learning'.
Unbecoming the lie can be tedious, agitating, and frustrating.
I think of it like a chain necklace having become tangled.
We are that tangled up chain,
which through ignoring and improper care,
(i.e. lack of self-care, lack of connection to nature and being,
listening to others tell us what we are, addictive and toxic habits and so on),
became tangled along the way.
We can keep passing on the tangled chain to
someone else to solve,
or we have to go all in,
most likely frustrated, agitated, and uncomfortable to begin with,
to accept and acknowledge that
the unbecoming, the unlearning, the untangling
of the thoughts, beliefs and values we've collected
externally along the path of our life to date,
are only but for us to dissolve.
Once you have untangled that chain,
you can appreciate its elegance, adaptability, and grace.
(And thereon-in, new tangles will be resolved with
effortlessness, gentleness, and ease.)
Written with love, and a smile,
